Brooklands Hotel in Weybridge might not be the first place you think of when booking an October half term family break but there is so much to do on the Brooklands estate itself and within a short drive of the hotel.

We have Mercedes-Benz World on our doorstep (a 3 minute walk away to be precise!) and is a great day out for the whole family. There are three floors of fascinating displays featuring legendary Mercedes-Benz vehicles as well as F1 cars. Either racing a miniature AMG-GT around the miniature track or testing your skills in the realistic F1 simulator experience, there are plenty of indoor options. Your little ones (aged 3-5) can get behind the wheel of a Mercedes-Benz electric ride-on car to explore the purpose built track. There’s also the main track where you can watch the cars whizzing around or give it a go yourself with a driving experience. Or if you want to see how the professionals do it, you can be a passenger and enjoy the thrill of the ride! There’s also an off-road track where you can put a G-Class through it’s paces on the steep inclines and nerve-wracking descents. We've got overnight stays that include a passenger ride and a driving experience.

Next on the Brooklands estate is Brooklands Museum where you can step back in time to the days of innovation and record breaking on the site of the world’s first purpose built racetrack (which you’ve walked over in our Lobby as you checked in to your room!). You can discover supersonic flight with Concorde, the aircraft designed, built and flown at Brooklands. The historic site is brought to life through an interactive collections of motor vehicles and aircraft. They've got a range of activities on offer this October from building a paper aircraft, activity trails, vintage bus rides and Concorde Supersonic walkthroughs.
