Brooklands Hotel & Spa might not be the first place you think of when booking a family break but there is so much to do on the Brooklands estate and within a short drive of the hotel.

We have Mercedes-Benz World on our doorstep (3 minute walk away to be precise!) and is a great day out for the whole family. There are three floors of fascinating displays featuring legendary Mercedes-Benz vehicles as well as F1 cars. You can get competitive racing a miniature AMG-GT around the miniature track or test yourself in the realistic F1 simulator experience. For little ones (aged 3-5), they can get behind the wheel of a Mercedes-Benz electric ride on car to explore the purpose built track. There’s also the main track where you can watch the cars whizzing around or give it a go yourself with a driving experience. Or if you want to see how the professionals do it, you can be a passenger and enjoy the thrill of the ride! There’s also an off-road track where you can put a G-Class through it’s paces on the steep inclines and nerve-wracking descents.

Next on the Brooklands estate is Brooklands Museum where you can step back in time to the days of innovation and record breaking on the site of the world’s first purpose built racetrack (which you’ve walked over in our Lobby as you checked in to your room!). You can discover supersonic flight with Concorde, the aircraft designed, built and flown at Brooklands. The historic site is brought to life through an interactive collections of motor vehicles and aircraft.

If you’ve got a bit more time with us and have explored what’s on the doorstep, then there are plenty of other attractions that your children (big & small!) will enjoy!.

Legoland Windsor is a unique theme park with plenty of interactive rides to enjoy only 30 minutes from Brooklands Hotel. Sign up the whole family for high energy fun at the Fire Academy or take to the skies in the Duplo Valley Airport. You can also steer your own course at the Driving School or be captain of your boat at Coastguard HQ. The new Lego Mythica world is a parallel universe to ours where Lego creatures come to life; full of epic adventures, powerful guardians and mysterious creatures all waiting to be discovered.

At Chessington World of Adventures there are over 10 themed lands, 40 rides exciting rides & rollercoasters, over 1000 animals in the zoo, SEA LIFE aquarium and a Go Ape course is a theme park, zoo and SEA LIFE aquarium. It’s only 20 minutes to get back to Brooklands Hotel at the end of your exhilarating day; you’ll need a rest when you get back to your bedroom!
